Gothic city
It all started when you were falsely accused of the latest attack in the Cathedral city, and thrown into a dank dungeon by the Count Nosferatu's's henchmen. You cursed your fate and resorted to desperately clawing at the icy walls. Accidentally loosening some bricks, you discovered a dark hidden passageway leading into the fabled ancient set of tunnels winding beneath the city. After days spent crawling through darkness, you emerge into a cavernous chamber. In the weak dribble of moonlight coming in from a crevice above your head, you make out dusty piles of stained leather books, ebony candelabras and stacks of steel crates containing scarlet-filled vials.
Upon closer inspection, the musty yellowed pages of the books all bear the crest of the Nosferatu family. With the muffled sounds of the city coming from above you, you settle down to study these volumes, furiously scribbling down all the evidence you can find of this terrible family secret...
